While it's a shame to move away from the Apple Powermac case, the Gigabyte Aurora 3D makes it easier to achieve better air flow, reduced noise and expandability. The Intel D975XBX2 board is a reasonable overclocking platform with good hackintosh compatibility and stability that'll also enable me to make the switch to Q6600 or better when the time comes.

While it did the trick, the G4 case presents you with some issues around air flow. Also I'm not a great finisher - hence the reason there are no pictures of the back of the case!
But still, this represented a satisfying first pass and the hackintosh parts list included is still valid.
